Hi, my name is Paul and I just love metal detecting.  I love almost everything about it.  I love learning the history behind a location.  I enjoy hearing stories of people who lived before me.  It gives me a sense of place and rootedness.  And when I find an object in the ground that they may have held, I find it awe-inspiring.
